Here on the forum when you type your reply to the post it has a little browse button to locate the file. When I select the file I want it doesnt show up in the forum. it doesnt work under the Mac OS either
It happened to me few times, and after that I found the catch… the catch is that you should do this… (I’m not really 100% sure that this is an ultimate fix for that problem, but it works for me…)
Write your post, attach your attachment and send it immediatelly. DO NOT PREVIEW your post first and then send !!! Just attach and send it. It will show up in your thread without any doubt.

I don’t know then… but, something is wrong, and that’s true. I think that we should be able to see our attachments even if we press preview button and send it after that… I don’t know.

Sometimes everything is OK, but sometimes can’t attach pictures. I have to upload them on my web space, and call them with http:// link…
Mac, you know the limitations: 150kb, type of the files (.gif, for instance), you cannot post a picture in a already saved (posted) message, just in new ones works great, you cannot post a picture with the same name twice (even in the past)…
For me, besides the limitations, no trouble with IE 6 and MyIE2 8)
the file is only 60 Kb. and the name is not the same as any that I have posted before. I can’t attach them on a new post or a saved post. I will email Mozilla tomrrow and see what they think.

Technical… that has nothing to do with file size. We know that size must not be bigger that 150 kb, and it says right next to box where we can attach picture into post… :
Few times I tried to attach 25 kb file and it wouldn’t work even for gold. Now, I have no problems any more, I can attach anything… but, as I said before, I must not press preview button first… I must send that post with attachment immediately… :

Sorry, just try to help… Sometimes it happened with me too. The behavior of the ‘preview’ button in erratic and I suggest you post without clicking in it before as Sasha is saying. This troubles could be related, as you know, with the browser… :

As it says, it only accepts txt,jpg,gif,png files and maximum size is 150K…
Does your file meet this criteria?
I tried to attach .jpg file cca. 35 kb once, and I had problem. But , I pressed “preview” button first and then “post” button. Picture was lost…
Now, I always awoid pressing “Preview” button when I send attachments… just hit “Post” and everything works just great…

You’ll see what I did with my PC case… sorry, WEB page is in Croatian Language, but still, you can see pictures. I described whole porcedure how I did it, materials, tools, everything. Final product you can see somewhere in the middle of that page. Blue-silver combination, neon lights (Cold cathode blue), fans with leds etc…
