Cant boot, stops at: \Windows\System32\drivers\aswbidsha.sys

Hello guys. Last week I updated my Avast. After turning off my laptop it just doesnt boots.

I tried to run it in Safe Mode and it stops here: \Windows\System32\drivers\aswbidsha.sys

I looked around the internet and seems to be an Avast problem.

Suppossedly deleting Avast will fix it but I cant since it doesnt boots even in Safe Mode.

Its Windows 7 by the way.

Boot from a bootable medium and remove avast.

Forgive my lack of tech know how. But I have no idea how to “boot from a bootable medium” or what is that.

Could you please guide me?

Do you have another system you could use to load files onto a USB stick?

What version of Win7 is the un-bootable system? 64 bit or 32 bit?

Below are instructions for generating FRST logs on unbootable systems. Only thing you need is USB drive and another working PC.

I have the same problem since the update. Even safe mode doesn’t boot, stops at aswbidsha.sys.
