Can't change screenname on webboard

Hello every one, it is me (Eddy)
With the newly launched webboard I can’t change my screen-name back to Eddy.
All my posts seems to be still here, but I would like to use my own name again.
Any help is appreciated.

Try logging into your account now Eddy, for some reason you were on the banned list ???

I keep getting:

The following errors occurred when trying to save your profile: The selected username/display name has already been taken.

Gonna close the browser, remove temp files and such and try again.

Edit:
Done it, still can’t get my name back.

I can see your original profile there, it says “not logged in yet”

Does using email as user name help as explained here in pic

I am using that email.
With the new board I could login right from the beginning with my email/pw.
But it asked me to choose a screenname and when I did enter Eddy I get that error.

Can you look into mine also,it use to be marc-d-l I realy would like it back.

I have mine solved.
The name was registered with another email account.
Still strange that I could login with a account that I never used here.

Mine was also under an email I was unaware was used. The email that finally got me in thanks to chocholo was not the same email I used for 'myAvast Account.
