I have been attempting to look at Avast for our Small Business Server network, SQL 2005 w/ sp1. I’m currently running Trend but have had much better experience with Avast on my home computer.
The Server install completed without any apparent issues. When I try to install ADNM I get an error at db creation. Could not locate SQL Server or bad login.
It seems that Avast wants to install with SQL security – I would think most SBS users are running Windows Authentication ??? However, I am running in mixed mode. The install has the sa login entered, I entered the sa password.
I’ve run and I get the connection test error
