Can't connect my PC to the xbox....says Avast is the issue

I’m trying to connect my laptop to my Xbox, without success. I keep getting the message that Avast may be the issue. I’ve gone in and reset everything I can to allow the connection, but still nothing. Any ideas would be grateful. Thanks.
