Can't connect with Avast SecureLine VPN

I have just installed Avast Secure Line VPN. I have paid the licens and I get the massage “Your licence is valid. Connect via Avast SecureLine now!”. I have allowed incoming connections in Firewall preferences for the APP Avast SecureLine VPM. And have restarted my mac. My system is macOS Sierra Version 10.12.1.

But I can’t connect. Get the massage: “The communication with VPN server failed. Check the server address and try to reconnect.”. I have tried several location without result. What can I do?

Check the firewall log to see if it blocks anything from avast.
To use a VPN, outgoing must also be possible.

A real easy check to see if the problem is with the firewall is to disable it and try to connect.
