Can't create custom virus scans

After updating to Avast 2015 I lost all my previously defined custom scans and I can’t create any custom virus scan. I get the screen for doing it, but after I click OK I get only ??? signs and the new scan is not save, and does not appear in the drop down menu of scans.
I use Avast free Antivirus 2015.10.0.2208

  1. Download Avast Free Antivirus: http://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_free_antivirus_setup.exe
  2. Follow instructions: http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions…!!)
  3. Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
  4. Reboot.
