Can't delete the virus help plz!!!

I did it but for example when i press “f” www.forum.avast… comes again

Are you using Windows XP?
Can you schedule a boot-time scanning?
Start avast! > Right click the skin > Schedule a boot-time scanning.
Select for scanning archives.
Boot.

That too is a part of your browser ‘auto complete’, same area as I mentioned before but a different Tab, see image, disable those that you don’t want to auto complete.

I suggest you spend a little time browsing the various functions and settings available to you for your browser, don’t change anything in haste (if you do write down what you did so you can see what the effect is and reverse it if required).

Whats hijackthis? what is it used for ?

HijackThis Logs Analyzed Automatically
I’ve mentioned the free HijackThis security utility [1] several times in this newsletter. It’s a free program that lists the programs running on your PC, those that start up automatically with Windows, installed browser toolbars and a variety of other key pieces of data that help identify if any malware programs are installed on your PC. Interpreting a HijackThis log is an expert task and I normally recommend posting the log to a specialist Tom Coyote web forum [2] for analysis. This site [3] offers another option: instantaneous on-line analysis. Don’t expect it to be as thorough as an experienced human operator but then again you don’t have to hang around a day or more waiting to find out if your PC is infected. Just create a HijackThis log then cut and paste it into the web form and press the button. Bingo; instant analysis.

Ignore any references to 023 entries for avast, this is a bug in the HJT 1.99.1. Hijackthis is searching for ‘C:\Arquivos de programas\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashMaiSv.exe" /service’ (including double quotes and ‘/service’ parameter) as a file, this causes ‘file missing’, because only present is ‘C:\Arquivos de programas\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashMaiSv.exe’.

o23 - service: avast! mail scanner - c:\program files\alwil software\avast4\ashmaisv.exe" /service (file missing) - Avast’s mail provider running as a service
o23 - service: avast! web scanner - c:\program files\alwil software\avast4\ashwebsv.exe" /service (file missing) - Avast’s webshield provider running as a service

Apart from having asked this question before in this topic and been pointed to the tutorials, by asking the same question that has been answered only increases the work for those who try to help on the forums. We don’t mind helping, but we at least expect those being helped to do their part and read the reference material or tutorials. Sorry if this sounds harsh that isn’t the intention, but to ensure people being helped read what material is being given or referenced.

Sorry David… I haven’t seen that you’ve pointed the user to the tutorials before :-[

Not your problem Tech, if posters don’t read the information it wastes your time when you have to repeat the information.

So what a.q ? What did you lose ?

I have a hijack log file about my system

Where should i send it ?

Interpreting a HijackThis log is an expert task and you could use the on-line analysis.

If that is addressed to me, time is what gets wasted and the ‘so what’ comment, is so what I shan’t be wasting any further time on this.

Hi Volcano1985,

Just like to react on the hjt bit of this thread. There is a program specially developed to form a bridge between the user of hjt and online analysis of processes on the computer, it is called x-ray pc, and can be found and downloaded here: http://www.x-raypc.com/ It is from the makers of X-cleaner and the use of this program is meant to help technical users regain control of their machines and to assist spyware researchers doing log analysis.

This tool is not meant to replace your standard anti-spyware scanner, but serve as diagnostic tool to help identify questionable processes on a machine.

If you want to learn about hjt and what is in its logs, run x-ray pc on your box.

Ok thanks

I will try thanks
