Can't disable sandbox

Hi - everytime I try to run a certain program, Avast (free version 7) puts in in the Sanbox. I have set the program as an exception - but no change. I then disabled the Sandbox completely BUT it still runs it in the Sandbox!!!

Any ideas please?

Thanks

Right click the .exe file (in Windows Explorer) and choose to NOT run it anymore into the Sandbox…

Thank you for the reply.

When I right-click on the .exe file I do not see an option to not run in Sandbox, the only Avast option is to scan the file. I am using Windows7 (62bit).

Also, I don’t know if it’s of any significance but there is a smal ‘lock’ image in the lower left-hand corner of the shortcut and I don’t know what this means(?)

Any ideas please?

Thanks

The lock means that that particular software will “always run in sandbox”. Right click then click on the option you want.
