After hours of digging I figured it out. I’m just posting the solution I found because it might be of use to others. There are multiple ways to add exclusions so you have to follow these steps.

Click settings at bottom.
Click components on left side.
Click customize on web shield.
Click exclusions on left side.
Scroll down to processes to exclude.
Add your torrent program to list of exclusions.
