Can't find Avast installed under my Programs and Features on my computer

I just installed Avast. The icons and “Everything Good” show it working. Why can’t I see it installed? Is there another name I need to be looking for?

Edit: I reinstalled and now the program shows up in my control panel. Also was able to find the Google Chrome boxes on the bottom of the very first pop up box during the install process…I unchecked both boxes and, VOILA, no google chrome.

What os/sp?
What exact version of avast did you try to install?
