Can't get my avast to open up.

The icon in my tray has a red ball with an X through it. I have tried restarting the computer and then trying to restart Avast, nothing is working. I have a paid subscription until November 2012 and I have the Pro version. Has anyone else experienced this problem? :o

I have the same problem and have tried everything to restart the program ???..same circle with x through it

downloading manual defs works.

Comes as an executable you just run.

once finished, open up GUI and click “Fix now”

seriously easy. best AV soft on the market!
