I try to registert to get a new 12-months licence. The only thing that happens is that I get a message in my browser that says “Thank you for using avast”, but I recieve no email with a new licence-key. I have checked my inbox and also checked in my spam-folder. Nothing there. I have tried both IE and Firefox, no difference. What’s going wrong?

Who is your email service provider?
It could be that the email is being blocked by your ISP…
There have been some cases of ISPs blocking emails from avast! before they even reach you without your knowledge so you don’t receive anything.
Maybe it may be a good idea to try a free webmail service like GMail. I have had no issues with gmail and avast! and I usually receive emails within seconds.
