can't get rid of pynad and trojano 624

Hi
Each boot avast 4.6 detect win32 : pynad [adw] and twice an hour he detect win32 : trojano 624… >:(
Does someone know how to get rid of this treat?
Im runnig under windows XP home edition with sp2 and a T1 internet connection

Hi,

please work thorugh the link “VirusRemoval” below in my signature, and then come back with some more info, e.g.:

  • exact location of the infected files (full path/folder/filenames)
  • a hijackthis-Log
  • results of scans with Ad-Aware & SPYBOT

  1. Have you tried to schedule a boot-time scan from within avast?

  2. The clue is ‘pynad [adw]’ this is adware, have you got any installed anti-adware/spyware programs installed?

If not download, install, update and run these.
a. Ad-Aware
b. Spybot Search and Destroy
c. Spywareblaster
d. Download HijackThis.zip

  1. What firewall are you using? A software firewall not only helps prevent malware getting out to phone home but also to download more of the same.
