can't get rid of Win32:Trojan-gen. {Other}

My avast detects a virus called Win32:Trojan-gen. {Other} and the file name is C:\System Volume Information_restore{6F0EC5CB-D8E6-4276-8F60-80F7F22AB75E}\RP398\A0050284.exe
The avast, althou it detetects it, doesn’t fix it (erase it, repair it…) I tried to erase it manually (went to the exact location or file name and erased it) but the next day the avas detected it again ???
I have windows XP and avast 4.1 home edition

What can i do???
