Cant Install Endpoint Protection plus on Windows Server 2012 R2

I’ve purchased Endpoint Protection Plus for 20 users. When I come to install on our Windows Server 2012 R2 I just get the wait symbol on launching the avast_managed executable and then nothing. From task manager I can see Avast Antivirus Update launch and then end a couple of seconds later.

I’m launching the installer as an Administrator.

Windows Server 2012/R2 is listed as compatible on the Endpoint Protection web page.

Any ideas?

I should add that I’ve tried with firewall on and off

I’ve run as administrator, I’ve also tried Windows 7 / 8 compatibility.

Hi there – I spoke with our business team on this. Endpoint Protection Plus can only be installed on endpoints; you would need Endpoint Protection Suite or Suite Plus for server support.
