Hi!
I have a big problem with mi Avast! Home , I can’t update the virus data base.
The automatic upgrades doesn’t work (I don’t know why) so I try to do it manually.
I download the .exe, but when I am installing an Error appears.

Postscript: I am using Win Xp Home SP2, but my firewall allows Avast applications.

Please, post the last 200-250 lines of avast log: C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\DATA\log\Setup.log

Which is your firewall?
What is the error message shown (or listed into avast logs)?
Do you use any proxy? If you set ‘No proxy’ into avast update (advanced) settings, will it help?
