Hello everybody,
I use Avast Security Pro and cannot locate my mobile phone in my Avast account. I get the message "Unfortunately there are currently no details available for the XT1580.
GPS is enabled in my phone and it works.
Can somebody help me out here?
Hi, do you by any chance use the standalone Anti-Theft (4.2.0)? This app is not supported any more, the only anti-theft solution we provide now is within the Avast Mobile Security Pro.
@Asyn: Unfortunately, this article does not help me.
MyAvast account shows me my mobile phone with a red dot. So it is not reachable although I have my GPS on and I also have signal. I cannot send a “Locate” command.
@Tereza V.: No, I don’t use them. I already use the Anti-Theft function which is integrated in Mobile Security Pro. The Anti-Theft feature is also enabled in my mobile phone and the app is connected to my Avast account.
@All: Attached you will find a picture from the overview of my Avast account. The XT1580 is my mobile phone.
Now I have two mobile phones in my MyAvast account. See the following picture.
One device is marked with a red dot and the other is marked with a green dot. Probably the device with the red dot comes from a previous installation? Could that be?
Instead of using the app function you can just put ‘Where’s my phone’ into google (whilst logged into your google account) it always works and provides all the same functions
