It seems that you have problems not related to Avast.
It can also be possible that your “ex” installed a remote control program that could allow him access to our computer without your consent.
For now, do not leave your computer powered up when not in use, and certainly keep it offline unless you are there to monitor what it does.

If your ISP corrects the problem with Outlook Express, then keep an eye out for changes in the password.
This would indicate what is called a logging program which tracks your keystrokes and can send a email report to another computer.

I know this seems confusing to you , but these are things you need to understand and learn if you want to stay in computer land. hahahaha

Best thing now is to have your ISP get your mail working again, then find someone you know who can help you determine if any “logging programs” have been installed on your computer.

I hope this is not the case, but when strange thing happen, then you look for strange answers.
