Can't login to ADNM

I thought there would be a few questions like this - guess I’m missing something obvious.

I have installed ADNM, created the Avast db. I can see the db in SQL Management. I’ve run the AMS tool and the db connect shows okay, checked the log and no errors. Avast Managment server service is running.

ADNM does not “detect” any servers, but as I said the Avast db was created and can be seen in SQL.

I have been trying to connect using a couple methods the first one works for connecting with SQL manager remotely jsut fine.
Server :Ipaddress\Servername\Avast
Username sa
Password sa password

I don’t know what the User Name and Password should be - there is no Administrator user in the Avast db user list and sa does not work.

ok, looking a little further, I’ve found that I am loggin on. I had to leave the server entry blank, but the login window doesn’t go away so I didn’t realize I was logged in.
