I have a simple setup of business protection which includes 1 server 08 r2 and 1 workstation running win 7. I installed Business protection on the server and installed the client on it and the workstation. When I go to login to the actual client install on either the server or the workstation it states that I am giving the wrong password. although when I go to the web based console I can login just fine using the same password. Ive tried creating a new user and using that password but this had no affect. I have installed this product in multiple environments and never had an issue but something seems to be different here.
Could you check:
- the client computer is green in the console Network page
- check the Settings of the group that the affected computer belongs to. Most interesting for you should be Password tab - try to retype(change) the password and it should immediatelly propagate to client
