I am getting the same issue using Internet Explorer and FireFox but just on my account I go to my other account and it works …
Ren

thank you… updated now… everything seems to work perfectly now

Woooooooork, thank you

Updated virus definitions right now and now everything is working fine. Thanks

Please repair this bug in the next update since reading facebook messages needed and the false positive causes us many problems

It’s already fixed – just update VPS.

Milos

I am also having the same problem. I can’t open messages on 3 of my facebook accounts. Getting the same error from both chrome and firefox.

it’s already fixed
update your avast engine and virus definition

A work around for now is to stop the script analyzer and open facebook and the you can turn it on again. Untill you close the current tab or use another tab for fb you are ok… just untill a corrective update is out

Fixed  Thankyou

It’s now fixed -
Check Chrome is latest version, mine was already
Manually update Avast engine and virus definitions
Manually update Avast program
Reboot when asked
I ran Ccleaner then but if you don’t have it shouldn’t matter.
Sign into Facebook and test, all should be well.

Just update Avast!'s VPS to 130605-1.
