Can't Re-register

Hi
I’ve gotten a notice that I must register again for the free service but my e-mail address has changed since I signed up a long time ago. I lost my confirmation e-mail through walmart connect so I don’t have it. I’m just not sure what to do. Should I start over and register as a new user and if so do I need to uninstall Avast! first?

I’m totally illiterate with this computer uninstall stuff so I have to be led around this like a kid folks! Thanks sooooo much!!! ???

Well, you’re in the right place to solve your problem.

You have to register again at:
http://avast.com/eng/home-registration.php#register-form

There is no need to uninstall Avast. All you have to do is input the new registration code.

It does not matter that your email address has changed. Just select the one that states you are a present user who needs to re-register.

Hi and thanks so much…however…I did choose the one that says I’m a registered user and need to renew. I got an e-mail from Avast! support saying there is no record of this e-mail address…and I thought…DUH!

Don’t quite know where to go now…to Home and just re-register then? …sorry…lame brain here…guess that’s all I can do and glad I don’t have to uninstall,etc.

Gosh…how do you folks put up with folks like me??? Gotta love ya!!! :))))
