Can't register AVAST 4 Home product

I have used AVAST for the past year. I had a notice on my computer screen that said it was time to re-register, I went to the AVAST web site and filled out the forms. A few minutes later I received my new registration number. I followed the instructions included in the e-mail but for some reason I couldn’t fill in the whole number. It was as if certain letters wouldn’t show up. Any one else have this problem? If so what did you do about it? Do I try to re-register again? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You don’t have to re-register provided you received your new registration key.

From the email you received your new registration key, copy the registration key ensure you don’t copy any spaces after the key.

Right click on the avast icon and click About avast!.. in the new window click the License Key… button, paste the key into the new window and click OK.

Hoping this is the correct thread, I can’t seem to get a response when I attempt to register the Avast 4.6 Home Product for the first time. I have checked filtered mail at my ISP. I’ve checked my local rules filters and “deleted” file. I don’t reject overseas mail. Any hints? I can obviously connect to your web site, and the installation seems fine (you even found a virus in a “deleted” Outlook folder I had archived years ago - good work, as well as detected that I had tried Panda, which fails to hide its virus signatures!).

You should receive your reg key via email without to many problems,is that what you are waiting, looking for??

That was it. Thanks. The message suggested that “The Robot” might take 30 minutes to respond, but it has been at least 24 hours since I first tried. Of course, Robots may need recreation over weekends?

There is no rush, you can use the demo key for an unrestricted 60 day trial. Give it a few days and if you haven’t received your email with the registration key reregister and the key will be sent again.

My Robots Do it’s a lond weekend here to what a bugger ;D
