Hello, avast! support staff! I have a SonyEricsson Xperia 10 mini and I installed avast! mobile security and avast! anti-theft. Everything has worked as I suppose it should, except that I can’t register the program from my phone. I fill all the fields, I check my Wi-fi and it’s fine, my Google syncro is fine as well, but when I press the “Connect” button, there’s only one dialog box that says: “Establishing register in the telephone’s Google account”. It just pops up for an instant, and then nothing happens, and the only thing possible left is to cancel.
I read in the FAQ’s something that can be related to my case, but I’m not sure. Is this a bug, or is it something that will get fixed by its own? Please answer me.
2.1. Can’t seem to find a way to upgrade it more. Now I can’t even get updates for the virus database, which is causing me further problems. I don’t know if this could be related.
The app notifies me that virus definitions are not valid whenever I try to update them. Does that mean that I will have to reinstall it every time I want to have my protection up to date? :-\
did you use any 3rd party application on your AMS installation? Where did you get your AMS installation from? Do you use any VPNs or proxies of any kind?
