Can't register avast account in my mobile.

Hello, avast! support staff! I have a SonyEricsson Xperia 10 mini and I installed avast! mobile security and avast! anti-theft. Everything has worked as I suppose it should, except that I can’t register the program from my phone. I fill all the fields, I check my Wi-fi and it’s fine, my Google syncro is fine as well, but when I press the “Connect” button, there’s only one dialog box that says: “Establishing register in the telephone’s Google account”. It just pops up for an instant, and then nothing happens, and the only thing possible left is to cancel.

I read in the FAQ’s something that can be related to my case, but I’m not sure. Is this a bug, or is it something that will get fixed by its own? Please answer me. :frowning:

which Android version do you have?

2.1. Can’t seem to find a way to upgrade it more. Now I can’t even get updates for the virus database, which is causing me further problems. I don’t know if this could be related.

2.1 does not work with the online interface. there is an error message missing there which will correctly appear in the next update.

The app notifies me that virus definitions are not valid whenever I try to update them. Does that mean that I will have to reinstall it every time I want to have my protection up to date? :-\

did you use any 3rd party application on your AMS installation? Where did you get your AMS installation from? Do you use any VPNs or proxies of any kind?

I downloaded AMS from the official Android App Market. No VPN or proxies…
