i have tried to use the add/remove option, and download the uninstall program and to remove it manually, nothing works, i don’t have the dot in the corner and when i try to start avast it says ‘’ failed to init aswdata.dll ‘’ is there anything i can do? and i have windows xp
Have you got any system restore points before you installed avast 5? to get your computer stable!. Go to your earliest system restore point & reboot xp.
(Do this in safe mode by hitting F8 as the computer is booting log on as Administrator no password default.)
What antivirus did you have on your computer before avast 5?.
