Over and over and over again I’ve removed the Facebook shortcut on my Avast browser and it always returns. Merely refresh the page after “removal” and it’s back. Close the browser, return later and it’s back.
Is there a way to permanently remove Facebook’s shortcut from this browser?
If you follow the link you provided I’m the last one to post. Someone supposedly from Avast said it’s fixed and they will be implementing it. As I asked, if it’s fixed why not implement it?
Someone is being dishonest concerning this issue. I want Facebook gone from my shortcuts but removing it does not work.
Might be time to find another browser. Personally, I’m running out of options I feel are secure.
Getting huffy isn’t going to solve the problem.
Like Asyn I don’t have that problem and it also isn’t something that appears to be prevalent.
If you don’t like my replies, simply ignore them. That’s your prerogative.
When you did the clean install, did you try the tool offered by Avast when the normal clean install doesn’t work?
You can find that tool here, https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=230288.msg1531315#msg1531315
The 504 error usually happens when a Spammer is being banned.
The link works just fine. I’d also suggest you take a look at what rocksteady just suggested.
