Can't remove unnecessary notification icon

Every morning after a scan, the Avast icon appears in the notification bar, even if no threats are found. This is annoying! (I have “Notification Icon” NOT selected in settings)

I use things in the notification bar to mean “I have to do something”, so it wastes my time! Please revert to the former behavior. THANKS
