what happens when you empty the cache or try to delete the file manually, while Avast Shield is paused!! ?

exact path and filename of the infected file, please…

try to empty opera cache and delete file (manually, with avast shield ) , it still there.

path C:\Program Files\Opera7\profile\cache4\opr03VPK.html

Did Avast scan (realtime) webpage open with Opera ?

have you deactivated/Paused all avast resident providers before trying to delete it ? Manually means via the explorer/file manager!!

what error came, when you tried to delete the file manually ?
did you also clear Off-line-pages from opera cache ?

Please explain what you did&what happened then
again in more detail…

ok after paused avast resident shield , file can be delete.

why can’t delete file when avast scan is detected ?

Because Avast Shield blocks the virus from being opened/executed or handled at all (as it should!), to prevent further Spreading/damage to your system

be sure to reenable the resident Shield/Tasks :wink:
