Can't see Avast

So this is probably more of a problem with me instead of with Avast, but if anyone could help me out it would be great.

Whenever I open avast, I can’t see it. I can see the splash screen and it says it’s open on my start bar, but I can’t see the program at all. When I right-click on the program on my start bar and select “move”, the little four-pointed arrow is right at the edge of my start bar. I’ve tried moving my start bar to a different part of the screen, but when I click on “move” then, the four-pointed arrow is at the very top edge of my screen (I usually have my start bar at the top). This started happening when I activated the on-access scanner. At first it would move to the top of my screen (behind my start bar) but if I locked the toolbar it would move down, or I could also move the start bar and see it. Now neither of those work.

Any advice?

At this time, use the arrows to move up the window, won’t it work?

No, that doesn’t work. Would be nice if it did, though. It also doesn’t work if I move my start bar and the arrows appear at the top of the screen.

Hmmm…
There are registry key that controls the position of the windows…
I’m not sure how to manage them, but, maybe, you can uninstall and install again to solve them.
