Can't see the avast modal window to confirm operation remotely via ultravnc.

Hi all,

I access my computer remotely on occasion using ultravnc. I discovered recently that i can’t see avast modal windows remotely through ultravnc.

When i try to stop the avast service or uninstall avast remotely, i can’t see the avast modal window to confirm the operation, so it times out and does nothing.

Is there a way around this problem?

Maybe not…
If you had an UAC prompt (not sure what OS is that though) - would you see that?

i’m using Windows 7 with UAC set to the lowest level - never notify.

What i don’t see is the avast prompt.

I think you can’t see that message that runs like UAC at high level (darkening the screen and topmost) and unreacheable by remote access.
I’m not sure as I’ve only used TeamViewer and can’t remember this specific situation.

Sure, you don’t see UAC prompts because you don’t get any.
But if you set the level higher and got some - would you?
