Can't send attachment

Hi team, any suggestions on this one. Since the last update to Build 4.1.289 I have been unable to send e-mail with an attachment. I downloaded the file ASHMAISV but when I compare versions to what I already have installed I guess I have the latest.
Downloaded version----4.1.274.0
Already installed -----4.1.287.0
so have not done anything. Thanks for any help, DOOLEY.

First, try to do a manual update from the icon ball. right click on ball and select update program update.

Culpeper is right. This was a bug of 4.1.287 version. Try to update manually the program and the virus database.
When you have version 4.1.289 everything will go fine.

Thanks for the reply Technical & Culpeper but I already have version 4.1.289, that’s when the problm started.

I’m no expert, but it might still be a case of de-install/re-install Avast (again?) That is if the fix in the thread does’nt work for you :-\

Could you try what Walker proposed? Version 4.1.289 has just only fix (file ashMaiSv.exe). Maybe a new installation could help :cry:
