I recently purchased SBS for 10 machines, I tried loading the ADNM on the SBS2003 server but could not get it to recognize the Avast Server. I kept getting the message “No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it…” I had avast send a new license and verified it in the fils as stated in the support forum, Still no help. In looking at the forum, I noted this could be loaded on a work station, so I did this, Now it says “Access Denied” unable to login as Administrator or connection error.
You can also log into the SQL server and find the ADNM database (the database name is listed on the AMS Maintenance tool screen). Once you’re in the database tables search for the admin username you’re trying to connect to ensure it’s in the DB. You can also reset the database password direct in the SQL table.
