The Avast software will not retain my decision to disable the “Insert note into clean message (outgoing)” option so that the annoying footer doesn’t get sent out in every email that I send.
When I get into Avast I go to Settings and then Active Protection → Mail Shield → Behavior and then I unselect “Insert note into clean message (outgoing)”. I click ok twice to apply the settings in both screens. However, the footer is still getting inserted and when I go back in the “Insert note into clean message (outgoing)” is selected again.
Why can’t I trun this off? Is it a bug? I’m seriously about to ditch avast over this. Unreal…
