Cant turn ON Avast

So the (not so)funny thing happening my Avast on both my Laptop aswell on my PC are that it doesn’t seem to stay on.

When I try to click on the “Resolve all” or the “Start now” buttons, it doesn’t do anything.
Online I’ve read that it says that you need to repair Avast, So i did this, but still it doesn’t work.

Anyone any idea?
If I cant seem to get this fixed, I must find an other AV as I feel naked and afraid without a working one.

  • Make sure everything from a previous installed av is removed ( links to removal instructions/tool > http:/www.ache.nl )
  • Remove avast completely (all folders/files and registry entries)
  • Reboot
  • Install the latest avast version ( https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=189836.0 )
