Hi,
I had avast for a while but it couldn’t detect or remove certain malware when my computer was infected and decided to download malwarebytes which fixed my issue.
I had deleted avast after thinking that I didn’t need it but found it it is good to have both?
So I reinstalled it to my D drive and not my C drive but it is causing some problems. I think its because I had malwarebytes running while installing?
I think some lang file is missing, it wont display properly. I have a link to the photo of avast ui. http://imgur.com/YV7w840
Malwarebytes detect no threat what so ever so I didn’t post the log up here.
I can’t download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool as avast is preventing me from downloading it saying “a suspicious item has been detected”. (Once download is complete the result is fail).
But I have downloaded aswMBR.exe and during the scan I can hear avast in the background saying “threat has been detected” about 5 times. I have attached the scan for this one.
EDIT: upon clicking the “done” button after installation has completed by computer crash and I heard a buzz noise coming from my computer.

Malwarebytes is not a replacement for antivirus, there is a ton of stuff it will not detect
I guess mbam detected some PUP? … Avast pup detection is default off
Right click avast tray icon and pause shields before frst download

I went to the installation folder and within it the “setup” folder is highlighted blue and its compressed. I can’t uncompress it because i need administration permission but I can’t seem to solve this bit.

FIXED! the avast uninstall utility couldn’t access a file in the setup folder due to it being compressed and couldn’t be modified. I gave permission somehow and was able to uncompress it. Then avastclear.exe did its job and safely uninstalled avast.
Will definitely not using avast again.

Are you also stop using a good car just because it has gotten a flat tire ?
I would fix the problem and happily drive the car again.
When I look at the log I see a problem.
You really got not enough fee diskspace on C and D
