Dear All,

I am having an issue with uninstalling avast free antivirus from my hp probook 4730s computer

I have tried uninstalling via add or remove programs as well as avast clear utility in both normal and safe mode and it always gets stuck in the stage :

“Launching executable file: wsc_proxy.exe/svc/unregister/firewall”

Can anyone please advise how I can uninstall the software?

I have clearly stated that using the utility did not work…

You say you have avast free … no firewall

wsc_proxy.exe/svc/unregister/[b]firewall[/b]

Have you used a different version before?
