Greeting People ,Trying to remove chrome from my laptop but after i input the admin password google opens on the task bar and wont let me remove it till its closed and then i have to repeat all wot i did again… AGHHHHHH .
Please help as its driving me knutz as my home pc went bonkers recently due to chrome not responding and that got sorted but this is something different.

Have you tried uninstalling through the Add or Remove Program list? If not, try.
If that doesn’t work. Download Take Ownershop (http://cdn3.howtogeek.com/wp-content/uploads/TakeOwnership.zip). Go to the following Location C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application. Find Chrome.exe (You may not see .exe). Right click, and take Ownership. A CMD windows will flash. That is normal. Then attempt to delete the file. Chrome will no longer start after that.

Edit: Should’ve asked. What do you mean “Chrome went Bonkers”. Sounds like an indication something got messed up. You should also know, that when you deleted chrome.exe, you left the leftovers. Feel free to remove them
