Can't update avast

I had avast on my computer and everything worked fine. One time, I received a notice that it couldn’t update the program. Tried numerous times with no luck. Thought it might be a corrupt program so I deleted and reloaded. Still haven’t been able to update. Keep getting a message that update was unsuccessful. Spoke to someone who said it could be firewall problem. Tried turning off firewall but had no luck.

Any ideas.

Delete avast.setup entry into your firewall settings and try again.
