Can't update definitions in Android

Hi. I have a Nexus 6P running Android 8.0. I’m using Avast Mobile Security.

Avast can’t update. I get messages all the time, from Avast Mobile Security, telling me “Warning! Issues detected.”

I tap it, and get a “Virus Definitions outdated” message. I tap “RESOLVE,” and get “Virus definitions update failed.”

What’s going on?

This has been resolved in the latest update which is rolling out to users now – check to see if you have an update available :slight_smile:
