I am having trouble with a new license of avast! 4 Exchange Server Edition, 1 year. Trying to update gives me license expired error. Installed on WIndows 2000 server with exchange 2000
I restarted all avast services but that makes no difference. I had origionally installed a demo and added the license key.
Was the demo expired when you installed the release license?
Can you post the last couple of (relevant) lines from the file \setup\setup.log?

Yes it was expired for a couple of days when I added the license
License manager says updates are valid to March 31, 2007 but the log says different:

Hmm, is the system clock set correctly? It says it is JANUARY (not FEBRUARY) 2nd?

Oops I was messing with the dates to try and get it to work yesterday but thats not the cause…i changed the date back and it still does it…
I still have the same issue, the system date was not the problem. Any ideas ASAP
