Cant update Home Ed usnig downloaded vpsupdate file.

Hello

I’ve installed Avast Home Edition and entered the registration key.
but i can’t update using downloaded vpsupdate file?

it generates the following error code

Can’t install VPSupdate
Version 4.8.1201
SI:0x00000005
ST:0x00000003

Any Idea ?

Seems that you’ve inserted the key not as an administrator but a common user.
Which is your operational system?
Error 5 means access denied.
