Can't use Hotmail when I have Avast running? Malware alerts like crazy!

So today I log into my Hotmail account and the box keeps popping up and it keeps chiming because it is detecting malware. Keep in mind I am not opening a message, just going into my inbox. I tried opening my hotmail in IE and it worked fine. This is only happening in Firefox. I have run malwarebytes anti-malware and it doesn’t detect anything.

Any ideas what is going on or what I can do so that I can fix this?

Yeah, it’s working now. Very strange. I’ve been having this problem for 6 hours and then 5 minutes after I post this message it is fixed? Strange.

What does “FP” mean by the way?
