I run the smart scan and get all the way through and watch the Smart Home Risks complete but when I click on Next it will not show me the Smart Home Risks wich has and exclaimation point in it
I tried to repair it, I tried to reset it I even downloaded the latest version and restarted my pc and still the same thing is happening, I laso have a notification
that saays Smart scan found issues but when I click on details and brings me back to the main windows and I click next but nothing happens
can anyone Please help me, I love avast and want to keep it

Things that come to mind are Avast OMNI do you have it ?
What avast program/s do you have installed ?
OMNI is currently only available in the USA, if that is the case, this is more likely to be a promo for it.
The Smart Scan frequently reports potential issues, more in the hope that will purchase that paid product.
I have the newest version of free avast and I’m having problems running a scan and so is my friend.When I run the smart scan it’s fine till it gets to smart home risks. When it’s finished I click next and the next arrow disappears and I don’t get the results of smart home risks. I can now not scan again since there is no arrow and scan has not finished. I have repaired modified uninstalled avast reinstalled several times. The new install will have advanced issues instead of smart home risks. Scan finishes. I close avast. Open it again and there is smart home risks again and back to same problem.
Sorry but it is not resolved in the upgrade. I have the newest upgrade 20.9.2437. It will not finish the scan at smart home risks. When I click to end it, the next button disappears. This is the Free Avast. I have done everything. Repaired, modified, rebooted, uninstalled, reinstalled. Still the same problem
I cannot submit screenshots since this is for free avast and it’s only allowing email to paid avast. Is there a way to contact support through regular email? Otherwise, this is not getting solved.

Also this is what I get when I uninstall and reinstall Free Avast. I get the Advanced Issues instead of Smart Home risks which works. Then after awhile it switches back to Smart Home Risks. Then the problem arises again with the scan not finishing and not able to view the results of smart home risks. This has been since the newest update to 20.9.2437. Over 2 weeks now.
Since I hardly ever run scans, I can’t confirm the problem.
It’s best to wait for a developer to reply.
I’ve reported this to Avast but, this is the weekend.
