Why is avast installing carrier IQ in the cell phone?
When you install avast it asked if I want to send back info if the response is no will the program respect that at all levels or only AVAST RELATED/

avast! is not installing Carrier IQ, I think you misread it since it asks you about Community IQ which is something completely different and is a feature of avast!.

Community IQ is NOT the same as Carrier IQ !
Just said it again to clear up any possible further confusions between these two.
Community IQ is just an avast! feature to give avast! developers feedback about detected malware so they can further improve protection.
