Caught a Virus that avast block call assembly\temp\U\80000032.s

Hi, recently caught a virus that redirect me to other sites, and then I download Avast and MBAM. Avast been keep popping up and block a virus name 80000032.s that is targeting my SVChost.exe file. On MBAM I did a full scan and found a file name KWRD.DLL and MBAM had removed. But 80000032.s is still affecting my computer.

I further hope you guys can assist me to battle this virus so I can happily use this laptop again.

This needs further analysis by a malware removal specialist:
Go to this topic http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0 for information on Logs to assist in cleaning malware. Use the information about getting and using the logs and attach the logs here, not in the LOGS topic.

I thought I have uploaded a Log, isn’t the OTL is what you are looking for? Oh I got what you mean, thank you.

That isn’t all of them, there should also be extras.txt when you first run OTL and there are other analysis tools in that topic.

It won’t be me looking at them (I’m not a malware removal specialist), I just preparing the ground, so that when one is able to help they have all the information.

here is the log from Aswmbr.exe

OK, it may be a while before essexboy can look at this he is normally on the forms from around 7pm (now 3:35pm in the UK).

EDITED:

Please follow essexs adivce when he arrives…

You have previously been warned about offering malware removal advice and this has now been reported.

Hi 'tis a variant on the zero access rootkit. First could you confirm that system restore is operative

Then

Download and Install Combofix

Download ComboFix from one of the following locations:
Link 1
Link 2

VERY IMPORTANT !!! Save ComboFix.exe to your Desktop

  • IMPORTANT - Disable your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware applications, usually via a right click on the System Tray icon. They may otherwise interfere with our tools. If you have difficulty properly disabling your protective programs, refer to this link here

[*]Double click on ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts.
[*]Accept the disclaimer and allow to update if it asks

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v706/ried7/NSIS_extraction.png

[*]When finished, it shall produce a log for you.
[*]Please include the C:\ComboFix.txt in your next reply.

Notes:

  1. Do not mouse-click Combofix’s window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.
  2. Do not “re-run” Combofix. If you have a problem, reply back for further instructions.
  3. If after the reboot you get errors about programmes being marked for deletion then reboot, that will cure it.

Please make sure you include the combo fix log in your next reply as well as describe how your computer is running now

'First could you confirm that system restore is operative"

How do I confirm that?

Here is the combo fix log

In Win7, Control Panel, System, System Protection, System Restore, Protection Settings.

I have it but don’t know if it is working. But it should be working.

Well the screen should show you if it is On or Off on your various drives. If you click the System Restore button another window should open and you should be able to delve deeper and see your restore points.

I can’t be much practical help as I disabled system restore on my systems (more years ago than I can remember), replacing it with drive imaging software.

Hi the reason I asked for that is that some of these variants are badly constructed and wreck the network connections

But having said that - what are your current problems

After the Combo fix there are no more problems.

Could you post the log please

The Combo Fix log?

Ta - there does not appear to be any remnants - how is the computer behaving ?

Ya its fix now after running combo fix.
