Ok first off does Revo Uninstaller Free cover the 64bit windows 7? I cant find where it does. My second question is does Ccleaner uninstall tool remove just as good getting rid of the junk out of registry and such when removing a program or application? Thanks

May I ask why you feel this way about Revo? I been using it for a couple years now with great results. It shouldn’t be used unless you know what your doing or can really mess things up. I need to know if the free version works with the 64bit system as I see it says the pro does but cant confirm myself. I also been using Ccleaner for about 3yrs or so and I like it a lot but I dunno if it gets down to removing everything when uninstalling a application.
It a bit hard for me to explain this to you about Revo because it can delete windows system files by mistake when you uninstall a program software that you don’t need, CCleaner does work on 64bit because the installer contain both 32/64bit all in one 
Revo correct me if I’m wrong but it will only delete what you Check. If you check wrong things can mean big trouble for a properly working PC. I’m just not sure if the Free Version is compatibal with my new desktop I just built for the 64bit version. I know Ccleaner is but if Ccleaner dont uninstall down to registry and remove all traces its kinda pointless for removing software or applications from a pc but great for cleaning them up.
Anyone know if Ccleaner removes down to the registry and get all traces on program removal?

Always first use the uninstaller of the program/tool involved.

Mind that the Registry cleaner of CCleaner is also a “light” Registry cleaner so it doesn’t burrow that deep into the Registry.

I normally use revo uninstaller with good results but it doesn’t support 64bit programs. I’m not uninstalling anything difficult I just don’t like to leave traces of stuff on my PC when im deleting programs.
Maybe this nice tool will satisfy your needs http://www.eusing.com/free_registry_cleaner/registry_cleaner.htm , This is the only tool I have ever used in the registry but do make sure to run the registry backup before doing a clean just in case.
There is no need to use the regular program uninstaller if you have CCleaner because it’s uninstall module does that anyway and is faster. If you uninstall with CCleaner and then run the registry cleaning tool in CCleaner, it does just as good a job as Revo. I have tested the two programs and the results were exactly the same. I would agree that CCleaner is safer because it doesn’t even give you the option to mess things up by making a wrong choice. I almost always don’t even back up the registry changes that CCleaner makes and I have never had a problem.

May i also recommend the use of regscanner as well when uninstalling software.This is not a general registry cleaner but will only find the keys related to the software just uninstalled.I have been using this for months with no issues and i am anti registry cleaner at heart but this one does work and has solved many issues for me.

Geek Uninstaller is a great free product and fully portable. 32 and 64 bit support. Iobit Uninstaller is also very good. It is also fully portable. Also if uninstalelrs we so dangerous then why would Essexboy be tellinmg a user to download it.

For your information, when essexboy tells someone to install a program, it’s being run under controlled conditions.
That isn’t the case for the average user.
Iobit anything isn’t something used by most of us. they have very bad ethics. Maybe you’re too young to know about it or,
that isn’t something you care about since you’ve already said that you’ve used crack programs to avoid paying for a product.
I agree about not using Iobit products but I also have to admit that I have used cracks and keygens in the past. I have used cracked versions of games to test them out and see if I like them enough to pay the sometimes exorbitant price they command. If I like a game enough, I will buy the real version. If I don’t, I will delete the cracked one. I have never been infected by such things but I will admit that it is a very real possibility.

When Essexbox informs someone to download and run Revo he is not there. Unless he is remotely controlling the pc isn’t not under a “controlled environment”. As far as Iobit stealing from MalwareBytes…That was there malware product and nothing else. Again that was several years ago and it water under the bridge. Iobit Uninstaler is very good and free. Does not need to be installed just like Geek Uninstaller. Here is s great list.

I myself use Advanced Uninstaller Pro which is 32 and 64 bit compatible. It is also completely FREE. There is no difference in some user downloading and installing Revo to try and uninstall a product or if Essexboy informs someone to download it and install it. Please stop the needless comments.
