Bob I ask about uninstallers. I don’t like to leave traces of programs behind when uninstalling them. Has nothing to do with if it aint broke don’t fix it scenario.
Be my guest. When a shared dll file gets deleted using one of these generic uninstallers and a program you didn’t delete no longer works,
remember this thread. Advice is freely given, I never said you needed to follow it.
Thats why everyone one of these programs creates a backup and or a restore point. Whats the worst that can happen? Re-install Windows? Big deal. Hence the reason I keep a system image handy. Been using 3rd party uninstallers for years. No issues. Same install of Windows 7 now for the past 3-4 years. No problems. Sometimes Bob you need to think outside the box and stop thinking of the old XP days. Uninstallers have come a long way and if they were dangerous they wouldn’t be around. Especially a reputable site such as “techsupprtalert”.
Your welcome honda2010. If you want to install a program then I recommend Advanced Uninstaller Pro. If you want a portable one then go with Geek Uninstaller. Both are free and very effective. Cheers.
Many years ago there was some problems. XP related really. But I myself never had issues with Revo on XP. But it does not fully support Windows 7 64 bit6 unless you upgrade to the pro version. Check out Advanced Uninstaller.
