I have multiple permanent drives on my computer (C: (Windows local), D:, E:, and F:) used for various things.
For whatever reason, Avast has placed its Quarantine folder on the F: drive, rather than the C: drive where Avast is actually installed. Due to the way I use my drives, having this folder show in File Explorer is highly inconvenient and I would like [the option] to move the Quarantine folder to the C: drive with everything else.
How can I do this? I cannot find any setting for this.
For further context, I believe the folder was initially Hidden (Windows attribute), but I deliberately keep Hidden items shown in Explorer. I attempted to add the System attribute to it (as I keep System files hidden) to hide it from view, which worked, but soon reverted to a fully non-hidden folder - presumably as a self-protection mechanism - which I cannot (don’t want to try to, in case of causing problems) edit.
The C: drive has lots of space (35%) available/free. There are no specific controls I can think of which would have prevented this folder from being created there, as has happened normally in the past with other PC builds.
Windows 11, Avast Free product.
Thanks.
