Thanks Jan.

It’s not acceptable that updating from 38403 to 38446 reinstalls Webrep plugins for all browsers when I had those disabled/uninstalled prior to updating!

If it remembers all my settings why does it choose to forget that?

Still having shutdowns and reboot problems following even latest update.

I happen to be running Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks Gold Master (GM) and avast! 8 for Mac is running smoothly. There are no noticeable slow downs or bugs (Not that it’s bug free). You guys have done a wonderful job with this version and it’s nice to know that avast! beat out several other antivirus programs for the Mac in a recent test done by Security Spread. While my Mac has been malware free I did discover in a scan yesterday that my email contained several trojans that were attached to several emails sent to me so avast is doing it’s job. Keep up the good work guys

*Update

I have discovered a very serious bug in OS X 10.9 Mavericks GM. When Mail Shield is enabled, none of my email is retrieved via my email client Airmail. It appears Apple Mail works but I have to disable Airmail to get my new email messages. I will report this to tech support so they can look into this.

Avast on Mavericks seems to be having issue

  1. initial error occur after mavericks finish installing( could not access preference pane)
  2. fix preference access via accessing incompatible software folder and opening it. (However there are two preference pane now in system preference)
3.com.avast.helper is it constantly running? its not visible so shouldn’t app nap be enabled?
  3. & web rep seems to auto install by itself eventho previous set up before upgrading mavericks for web rep was not installed.

p.s: running avast on latest build

After installing Avast, YouTube video stop every 15 minutes :frowning:

I have this problem with all flash video :frowning:

Suggestion: I see that the changes are updated by editing the first post. Very nice for continuity.

Why is there no page like https://www.avast.com/release-history for the Mac version?
